Teen Mothers

Most of the mothers are children themselves through no fault of their own.

Many are 15 & under, with the youngest aged 9.

In the safe community setting of the program, mothers connect, learn, build their self-esteem & economic independence.

Teen mothers face unique challenges that often hinder their educational and career aspirations

We aim to create an inclusive environment where these young women can pursue their studies while balancing the responsibilities of motherhood

The Program

Empowers Teen Mothers: Providing educational opportunities and vocational training that enables teen mothers to gain skills for better job prospects and financial independence.

Supports Child Development: Providing a kindergarten program for their children, ensuring a nurturing environment that fosters early learning.

Address Basic Needs: Providing food and support to ensure that both mothers and children are well-nourished.

Promote Community Impact: Enhance the socioeconomic status of a community by equipping teen mothers with valuable skills that benefit the local community.

Food Stipend: Provide monthly stipends for food for both the mothers and their children. To ensure they have access to nutritious meals, essential for their well-being and that of their children.

We take care of their educational needs, childcare, essential living expenses, and provide practical training in hands-on skills like hairdressing, beauty, and tailoring, empowering participants with the skills to achieve self-employment and financial independence.
